A number of players are still to finalise their Rangers exits as there is set to be a major overhaul of the playing squad this summer.
Danny Rohl is being backed by the owners to complete a rebuild, with this being his first summer transfer window in charge.
Thus far, Lawrence Shankland has arrived from Hearts, and a few players have left the club for good, but there are still a lot more ins and outs to take place.
Should Lawrence Shankland be named the Rangers captain?
Colin Hendry believes he deserves the armband right away…
Jose Cifuentes, Ben Davies and Danilo have all played their last Rangers games
According to Rangers Review journalist Blair Malloy, the trio of Jose Cifuentes, Ben Davies and Danilo will not feature again for the first team.
All three were sent out on loan last season by the Light Blues to get some first-team experience.
Cifuentes joined Toronto FC, Davies was snapped up by Oxford United, while Danilo moved to the Netherlands to play for NEC Nijmegen.
Where does John Souttar rank among the best defenders in the Scottish Premiership?
He was handed a new Rangers contract earlier this year.
None of the three clubs mentioned are keen on making the loan deals permanent, which means the three players will be returning to Ibrox.
However, they are not expected to be reintegrated by Rohl into the first-team setup, with the hierarchy expected to look for transfers.
Malloy said: “You look at Jose Cifuentes, you look at Danilo, you look at Ben Davies, just to name a couple, this season.
“These players are not coming back to play for Rangers.
“I think we can all agree these players’ Rangers careers are done.”

How much can Rangers realistically sell Davies, Cifuentes and Danilo for?
Davies joined Rangers from Liverpool for £4m back in 2022 and has done little to justify that outlay.
The club will be fortunate even if they can get seven figures from his sale this summer, with £700k being a more realistic estimate.
Cifuentes could fetch the most out of the three players, as there could be legitimate interest from MLS as well as clubs in Europe.
The Gers may be seeking around £2m-£3m from his sale.
For Danilo, given his fitness and form, Rangers know that they cannot expect too much this summer.
A fee between £1m and £2m should be enough for them to part ways with the Brazilian for good.
