The Evening Express reports that Rangers fringe man Matt Polster will now not be allowed to leave Ibrox during this transfer window, after impressing at Tynecastle at the weekend.
The versatile operator was one of five players described as available for transfer in a Daily Record report back in December.

A subsequent Record report then claimed that up to three Premiership clubs were interested in signing him up for the rest of the season.
However, after replacing Jon Flanagan at half-time against Hearts on Sunday afternoon, the 26-year-old looked very lively down the right flank and has ‘played his way back’ into Steven Gerrard’s plans.

Verdict
This is a big boost for a player who has never really had a look in at Rangers since his arrival a year ago.
Despite being able to play both at right-back or in a defensive midfield role, he’s found the competition too tough to ever get a proper run in the side.
To date, he’s made just six appearances for the club and is yet to start a Premiership fixture.
However, while fans were delighted to see James Tavernier back on the training pitch on Tuesday afternoon, the skipper is likely to be sidelined for another few weeks and with the games coming thick and fast, Polster may now finally begin to get the opportunities he’s been looking for.
