“Celtic today confirmed that one player has recorded a positive test for covid-19. Clearly the player will receive all our care and full support,” Celtic said [Twitter].
All other members of our squad, management team and backroom squad are negative.”
Neil Lennon’s side spent six days in the United Arab Emirates but sparked a row before they’d even left Scotland when tomorrow’s fixture with Hibs was moved from its original date without Hibs’ agreement.
Once they arrived in Dubai, there was further controversy after they were pictured poolside enjoying beers while the rest of Scotland were plunged into new lockdown restrictions.

Rangers fans had already been stunned repeatedly and this latest development has left Gers fans
Here are some of the comments from incredulous Rangers fans on Twitter:
Celtic want to breach protocols, knowingly take massive risks by going to Dubai, the inevitable happening (positive covid cases), yet somehow think the season should be voided
They want rewarded for their own stupidity and callousness
Shameless doesn't begin to cover it

Right the Celtic situation. Surely that game tomorrow isn’t going ahead now? I can’t keep up with all this.
I still don’t understand how Edmundson & Jones can get 8 games ban for sitting in a gaff, both don’t get COVID yet their entire squad can go to Dubai & come back with it?

Celtic take a trip to Dubai against all advice. They don't follow protocol on said trip and now players are testing positive. Unreal https://t.co/G3Lsx8q19x
