Released Rangers midfielder Liam Burt has posted a video of him arriving at Celtic’s training ground this morning – fuelling speculation that he could be set to cross the Old Firm divide again.
Burt joined Rangers as a youngster after spending time as part of Celtic’s Academy but never quite managed to make the grade at Ibrox as a string of injuries hindered his progress.

After being released at the end of the season, Burt is currently a free agent and posted video of his arrival at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training ground on Instagram.
The talented midfielder made his first-team debut under Mark Warburton in 2016 and was a standout in the Academy sides before injuries took their toll.

Burt also had stints on loan with Dumbarton and Alloa Athletic as he looked to force his way into the first-team picture at Ibrox.
Whether Burt is simply there to catch up with old friends or make use of Celtic’s facilities is unclear but it wouldn’t be a huge shock if he is being looked at with a view to a contract.

The midfielder has bags of ability and has been unlucky with injuries in the last few seasons and isn’t likely to be a free agent for long.
Whether that means he’ll turn up at Celtic remains to be seen but there’s no doubt Burt won’t be short of offers.
