Rangers travel to Pittodrie tonight for a crunch Scottish Premiership clash and Gers boss Steven Gerrard has named two changes to the side that mauled Hearts 5-0 at Ibrox on Sunday.

Borna Barisic misses out with Jon Flanagan taking his place at left-back while Ryan Jack replaces Glen Kamara in central midfield.

The Light Blues were rampant against Hearts with Alfredo Morelos netting his 25th goal of the season and Greg Stewart grabbing a late double after coming off the bench.

Tonight’s clash against the Dons should be a much tougher challenge with the Pittodrie side winning four of their last five games and unbeaten since a 4-0 thrashing by Celtic.

With Sunday’s League Cup final rapidly approaching, Rangers can’t allow themselves to be distracted by the Hampden clash if they are to return to Glasgow with three points and continuing to put pressure on Celtic at the top of the table.

Going into tonight’s games – Celtic face Hamilton at Parkhead – there is only one goal between the sides at the top of the Premiership and heading to Hampden top of the table could prove to be a nice little boost for Gerrard’s side.
