It was Ryan Kent’s turn to be the subject of a glowing tweet on Tuesday afternoon, as footage of his superb goal from last week’s Round of 32 first-leg clash against Royal Antwerp was shared.
The winger’s 83rd-minute strike at the Bosuilstadion made the score 3-3 and put the visitors in a position to win the game, with Borna Barisic’s 90th-minute penalty eventually completing the turnaround.
Kent’s effort was the pick of the seven goals scored in the game. After receiving a pass from Joe Aribo, he played a one-two with Alfredo Morelos on the left side of the host’s penalty area before showing great skill to evade several defenders and fire a finish into the top right corner.

The goal clearly impressed UEFA’s social media team, as they tweeted alongside the footage: “Great interplay – individual brilliance – Ryan Kent for @RangersFC”, as well as red, white and blue emojis.

Kent’s goal in Belgium was his ninth in all competitions this season to go alongside eleven assists and he’ll be hoping to add to his tallies in the second leg at Ibrox on Thursday night.
Rangers will be understrength for the game after the confirmation of a double blow.
