Club 1872 have responded to claims they are having talks with Rangers over the ongoing kit row – and insist nothing has changed since their previous statement.
Rangers director James Bisgrove reportedly told a focus group that talks between the club and the prominent shareholder and fan group have been taking place directly, however, Club 1872 say that isn’t the case and there has been no dialogue.
We weren’t in the meeting so we can’t comment on what was said but we can confirm that nothing has changed since our update two days ago. https://t.co/sHNfb88auS

With a host of complaints from fans over various aspects of the partnership with Castore, Club 1872 sought answers on behalf of their thousands of members but so far answers don’t appear to be forthcoming.
There seems to have been a noticeable shift in Club 1872’s relationship with Rangers in recent months and things appear to be pretty frosty – despite their role in helping the current board grab power at Ibrox.
Hopefully, Rangers can provide some sort of clarity and give an update on exactly what is going on between them and Club 1872, as fans continue to look for an explanation to the Castore issues.
After everything that has gone on at the club in recent seasons – and the many promises of transparency from the board room – now would be the ideal time for them to follow through on them.
