Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is better than Old Firm rival Odsonne Edouard – according to the newly-released player ratings for FIFA 20, as reported by The Sun.
EA Sports’ annual release comes out at the end of this month and the ratings for players on either side of the Old Firm have been confirmed – with Jermain Defoe leading the way for the Rangers players with a rating of 76.
The Scottish Sun has the full list of players and their ratings ahead of the September 27th launch, and Morelos is joint-second with Allan McGregor and James Tavernier in the list of Rangers players with a 75 rating.
Celtic striker Edouard meanwhile is rated at 74, like Rangers midfield trio Steven Davis, Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack.
Both clubs have agreements with FIFA’s main competitor Pro Evolution Soccer – with Ibrox and Celtic Park both featuring in PES.
Celtic fans will no doubt be bombarding EA with complaints pointing to Edouard scoring for France under-21s as proof he is better than the Colombian international.
So far this season, Morelos has hit the net 10 times in 12 appearances for Rangers and chipped in with a further three assists.
The striker is almost certain to start this weekend’s clash with Livingston as normal service is resumed after the international break.
