Rangers striker Cedric Itten is a “major doubt” for tomorrow’s Europa League clash with Galatasaray at Ibr0x – and Gers fans aren’t happy with the seemingly constant injury problems plaguing Steven Gerrard’s side.

The Swiss striker grabbed his first two goals for the club following his move from St. Gallen in the 5-1 rout of Motherwell at the weekend and fans hoped that would be the platform for him to kick on.

Joe Aribo and Kemar Roofe won’t make it but are progressing well,” Gerrard said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account. “Jack and Barker are both back in full training. Itten is a major doubt as he is a small issue with his knee.”

However, with another injury to add to the list, fans will now need to wait and see how long he ends up out of action for as the Gers await the returns of Barker, Jack, Aribo, Roofe and Niko Katic from injury.

Some fans on Twitter think the club’s training methods could be causing an issue but they were all united in wanting the club to get to the bottom of what is causing the, seemingly, high number of injuries at Ibrox.
