Humza Yousaf, Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Justice, has ‘warmly welcomed’ Rangers newly-launched equality initiative Everyone Anyone after meeting with managing director Stewart Robertson.
The Gers launched the programme earlier this week and the Justice minister was welcomed to Ibrox yesterday and praised the steps taken by the club to make football a more inclusive environment.

“Discrimination and prejudice have no place in society or football. Everyone should be able to enjoy our national sport, regardless of their background,”
“There have been long-standing issues in Scottish football and I have emphasised that society as a whole, including those who love our national game, needs to step up.
“I’m therefore pleased to see such positive and proactive action from Rangers to ensure everyone is welcome at Ibrox. I warmly welcome the Everyone Anyone campaign and hope it can help make football more inclusive and diverse.”

While Rangers should be applauded for their work, clubs must not rest on their laurels and think they have done everything they can to eradicate some of the issues that still sadly exist on the terraces.
