Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has once again praised Ibrox star Ryan Jack, after the midfielder put in an impressive performance for the Gers in their 0-0 draw with Legia Warsaw last night.
Jack, along with midfield partners Joe Aribo and Steven Davis, impressed for Gerrard’s side as they picked up a hard-fought draw to keep their Europa League hopes alive.
The Gers boss believes the former Aberdeen captain is excelling playing in the current system utlilised by the Light Blues and insists that Jack “loves a big game.”
“I have been talking about Ryan Jack’s consistency for a long time and he loves a challenge and loves a big game,” Gerrard told Rangers TV.
“He is enjoying this stage and I think he is really enjoying playing in this system.
“We need to keep him in this form as long as we can.”
Jack has been a constant presence in the side under Gerrard and looks to be one of the players he’s really put his faith in at Ibrox.
The Scotland international hass shown time and again that he can be relied on and his performances over the last six months have really stepped up a level.
With the likes of Davis beside him in midfield, it’s really helping bring the best out of Jack and hopefully it’ll continue for a long time to come.
