Beckham’s franchise has been hit by a number of setbacks since it was announced but is finally in a position to start making real moves – and the appointment of the World Cup-winning former AC Milan boss would be a big one.
The Mirror’s report claims that David Moyes, Thierry Henry and Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti are all other potential candidates for the job as they begin the process of hiring a coaching staff and building a roster.

Gattuso had a spell at Rangers early in his playing career, meeting his future wife while in Scotland, and remains a big favourite with Gers fans.

A move to MLS would be a massive gamble for the fiery Italian though as the byzantine rules can make it a difficult league to navigate for someone without previous experience in American soccer.
Gattuso has also managed FC Sion, Palermo, OFI Crete and Pisa before his stint in charge at Milan.
