Rangers flop Matt Crooks has taken aim at former Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha, describing him as “carnage” in a scathing putdown of the Portuguese coach.

The former Gers utility man was responding to a tweet asking Josh Windass to describe Caixinha and didn’t mince his words.

Fans on Twitter have been talking about the former Rangers boss after Andy Halliday’s interview with Open Goal saw him discuss his time under Caixinha.

Crooks joined Rangers under Mark Warburton at the same time as Rangers but struggled to break into the first-team before Warburton abruptly left.

 

Despite a few appearances for the first-team, his Rangers career was pretty much summed up by that woeful performance in a 2-0 defeat at Tynecastle.

Several injuries during his time at Ibrox did little to help him and it wasn’t much of a surprise that Caixinha didn’t seem to fancy him.

A loan stint at Scunthorpe United helped him get his career back on track and he’s had a fantastic season at Rotherham, scoring 11 times in 33 appearances for The Millers.

After a season in League One, Rotherham secured promotion back to the Championship after a second-place finish after the season was curtailed.

Caixinha is currently out of work but could have a new club soon after he was linked with taking charge of Mexican giants Tigres.
