Rangers fans have responded in numbers after Orange County SC asked if they were ‘staunch enough’ on Twitter.
The Gers announced an official partnership with the California-based outfit in December 2019, ‘founded on football, youth development and commercial activities.’

Three promising Gers academy talents – Daniel Finlayson, Matthew Shiels and Cammy Palmer – soon jetted off stateside to begin loan spells with the second-tier club, although fixtures are currently suspended amid the global health crisis.
The two clubs have still been engaging with each other on social media during the lockdown, though, with Rangers sharing Orange County content and nominating their partners in various Twitter challenges.
On Wednesday evening, OCSC came up with some content of their own.
They designed a new wallpaper for ‘Wallpaper Wednesday’ which merged the Rangers and Orange County crests, whilst also including the hashtags – RangersFC and ForCounty – adopted by the respective clubs.
In a post that was subsequently retweeted by the Rangers account, they asked: “are we staunch enough for you RangersFC fans?”
The answer was a resounding yes.

Plenty of Bears are clearly on board with the partnership, so they may be interested to know that it looks like it will soon be possible to purchase Orange County kit.
The USL Championship side have a relatively small fanbase and don’t currently sell products in the UK but based on a reply underneath the Wednesday Wallpaper post, it looks like that could soon change.
We should have that all staightened out by the end of the week!

It seems that by the end of the summer, Rangers fans could be kitted out in OCSC strips made by Adidas as well as the new Castore Rangers kits.
