Rangers have confirmed that midfielder Jordan Rossiter has joined Fleetwood Town on a season-long loan – and Gers fans are hopeful it’s not the end of the midfielder’s Ibrox career.
📝 Jordan Rossiter has today joined @ftfc on a season loan, subject to international clearance.

Rossiter spent the second half of last season on loan with Bury, helping the Shakers win promotion to League One, as he played his first consistent run of games at first-team level.
With only one year left on his Ibrox contract, Rossiter will need to really impress if he is to have any chance of an extended stay with the Gers.
After spending the bulk of three years out of action though, it might just be time to let him move on permanently and get his career heading in the right direction.
Gers fans on Twitter were full of positivity about the move – with many hoping he can prove he deserves another chance to prove himself at Ibrox.
Here are some of the best comments on Twitter after Rossiter’s exit was confirmed:
Good luck to him, and all you muppets with nothing positive to say, bolt.

Good luck to the lad as he obviously has talent. Why do we loan players to such lower leagues though? I would loan him to an SPL club for a season.

With games he can still salvage his career here, he has the ability but just needs a run of games and an injury free season.

One day this lad will be a starter for us…one day…one day 😭

Hopefully just a loan to keep up his playing development and comes back as there is massive potential in him 👍

Hopefully he does brilliant like Bury and earn himself a new deal with us. If he stays fit I think he could be excellent. Absolutely loved what I seen when fit.
