Rangers have confirmed the club have passed an incredible 40,000 season ticket renewals ahead of today’s deadline – and fans on Twitter are delighted to see so many renew.

The club posted on Twitter that “40,000 and counting” had renewed as they thanked supporters for their loyalty amidst the ongoing Covid pandemic.

Despite the uncertainty over when fans will even be allowed to return to the stadium, the fact that over 40,000 have renewed is absolutely incredible.

Fans who have purchased season tickets will get access to live streams of all home fixtures while there are restrictions in place and it should go some way to making up for not getting to be there in person.

Unsurprisingly, fans on Twitter were quick to praise the support shown – with one calling the Rangers support “second to none.”
