Rangers have confirmed the club have passed an incredible 40,000 season ticket renewals ahead of today’s deadline – and fans on Twitter are delighted to see so many renew.
The club posted on Twitter that “40,000 and counting” had renewed as they thanked supporters for their loyalty amidst the ongoing Covid pandemic.
💙 40,000 and counting…
🎵 Though times they have been hard, we’ll follow near and far.
👏 Thank you to each and every supporter who has renewed their season ticket so far.

Despite the uncertainty over when fans will even be allowed to return to the stadium, the fact that over 40,000 have renewed is absolutely incredible.
Few clubs anywhere in the world can expect to see their fans dig deep to support the club financially and it is a number that fans can be truly proud of.
It is hoped that fans could return to stadiums in August but there are still plenty of hurdles to be overcome before that will be a reality.
Fans who have purchased season tickets will get access to live streams of all home fixtures while there are restrictions in place and it should go some way to making up for not getting to be there in person.
Unsurprisingly, fans on Twitter were quick to praise the support shown – with one calling the Rangers support “second to none.”

Seriously though, we sometimes take things like this ‘as standard’ for the Bears but this is exceptional. We really are the people!!! https://t.co/wcsjDOVA5M
