Rangers could be set to snap up Florian Kamberi for as little as £150,000 – and Gers fans on Twitter urged the club to get the deal done.
According to the Daily Record , Hibs are looking to offload the striker and a return to Ibrox could be on the cards for the striker after spending the second half of last season in Glasgow.
Kamberi looked to have burned his bridges at Easter Road after calling his loan move to Ibrox a dream and it appears he’s played his last game for Jack Ross’ side.
Hull are reported to have had bid rejected already and Rangers won’t have much time to waste if they want to bring the Swiss-born Albanian back to Ibrox.
Often deployed out wide rather than in a traditional no.9 role, he only scored once, but, in general, made positive contributions when introduced from the bench.
The suspension of football came at a bad time for a player who is hungry to impress at Ibrox – although Hibs’ willingness to move him on could work in Rangers’ favour now.
Rangers have also been linked with a move for Charlton’s Lyle Taylor – and Gers fans still want another striker added even if Kamberi does sign permanently.
Here are some of the comments on Twitter from Rangers fans:
£150k for Kamberi? I'd rip their hand clean off
We still need another top class striker in tho

Everyone wants marquee signings. Kamberi might not be that but for 150k, 100% take him. Impressed almost every time he was on the park. Desire was there domestically and in Europe, didn't faze him. Always looked a threat. Can play as a 9 or left/right inside forward. Get it done

£150k for Kamberi is fantastic value. I wonder, however, whether we should be trying to bring in a higher quality player to fill that role.

Kamberi would be good value at £150k tbh, but if he does sign he can’t be the only striker we bring in this summer.

150k for Kamberi is an absolute no brainer! I was really impressed with him when he came in. Would be a good solid addition and let’s us play a different way

Is Kamberi really on offer at £1.50?

Kamberi for £150,000?
If we can get Jones, Barker etc. Out the door. I’d pay that for him easy.
