Rangers could be set to snap up Florian Kamberi for as little as £150,000 – and Gers fans on Twitter urged the club to get the deal done.

According to the Daily Record , Hibs are looking to offload the striker and a return to Ibrox could be on the cards for the striker after spending the second half of last season in Glasgow.

Hull are reported to have had bid rejected already and Rangers won’t have much time to waste if they want to bring the Swiss-born Albanian back to Ibrox.

Often deployed out wide rather than in a traditional no.9 role, he only scored once, but, in general, made positive contributions when introduced from the bench.

The suspension of football came at a bad time for a player who is hungry to impress at Ibrox – although Hibs’ willingness to move him on could work in Rangers’ favour now.

Rangers have also been linked with a move for Charlton’s Lyle Taylor – and Gers fans still want another striker added even if Kamberi does sign permanently.
