Former Rangers winger Eros Grezda has hit the headlines again after the Albanian was accused of punching an opponent after losing yesterday’s Croatian Cup semi-final – and Gers fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the claims.
Grezda was substituted 62 minutes into the 3-2 defeat for his NK Osijek side by Rijeka and, according to Croatian media, then allegedly assaulted Antonia Colak in the car park outside the stadium with the police now investigating the incident.

The winger returned to Osijek after a shambolic spell at Ibrox which saw him spit on an opponent while featuring for the Colts after being bombed out of Steven Gerrard’s first-team squad.
Despite arriving at Ibrox in a £2million move, Grezda only managed 17 appearances in total for the Light Blues and never looked like justifying the money spent to bring him to Scotland.
Grezda also saw his international career go up in smoke after falling out with manager Christian Panucci in 2018 before a war of words broke out over the reason for his absence.
The latest row hasn’t surprised Gers fans though – with one saying the Albanian “never disappoints.”
