Rangers are back in action tonight as they take on OGC Nice in the second game of the Veolia Trophy – and Gers fans are buzzing to see the Gers in action against the Ligue 1 side.

After beating Lyon 2-0 on Thursday night, there’s a quick turnaround for the Gers and Gerrard’s side reflects that with the three changes to the starting XI.

Allan McGregor, Glen Kamara and Jermain Defoe all come into the starting XI with Jon McLaughlin, Steven Davis and Alfredo Morelos making way.

Ryan Kent keeps his place in the side despite being sent off against Lyon on Thursday – while there’s no place in the squad for Brandon Barker after he picked up an injury on Thursday.

Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister had called the win over Lyon the perfect preparation for the Europa League clash with Leverkusen next month and tonight’s game will hopefully continue that.

With only a fortnight until the league season begins at Pittodrie, there isn’t much time for Rangers to iron out any problems and the clash with Nice will prove to be a good test.
