Rangers fans react as ex-Gers ace returns after year out

Former Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has made his return to action after a year on the sidelines following a serious knee injury – and Gers fans were delighted to see the ex-Liverpool kid back playing.

Rossiter endured an injury-hit spell at Rangers, managing only a handful of appearances, before leaving the club in the summer when his contract came to an end.

Rossiter quickly signed up at Fleetwood, where he had previously been on loan, and played 45 minutes of the 2-1 win over Sunderland in the Papa John’s Trophy.

Despite his time at Rangers not working out, the midfielder is still held in high regard by Gers fans, many of whom were disappointed he couldn’t show what he was capable of at Ibrox.

With his latest comeback, hopefully, Rossiter can stay fit and get a consistent run of games under his belt and remind everyone why fans were so excited when Mark Warburton lured hi to Ibrox from Liverpool.

Fans on Twitter were delighted to see him back in action – with many saying they hope his injury nightmare is finally behind him and he can kick on.
