Former Rangers keeper Wes Foderingham has signed for Premier League side Sheffield United – and Gers fans on Twitter are delighted for the ex-Ibrox star.
Foderingham left Ibrox at the end of May following the end of his contract and hasn’t wasted any time in landing a new club after his move to the Blades was confirmed yesterday.
✍️ Chris Wilder has moved quickly to bolster United’s goalkeeping ranks for next season with the addition of Wes Foderingham on a three-year contract.

The former Ibrox number one has signed a three-year deal at Bramall Lane as Chris Wilder’s side prepare for the imminent departure of Dean Henderson, who is on loan from Manchester United.
“I’m delighted to join Sheffield United,” Foderingham told sufc.co.uk.
“It is an exciting time for the club after an incredible first season back in the Premier League. I’m looking forward to meeting the team and can’t wait to get started.”
Foderingham was brought to Ibrox by Mark Warburton in 2015 and went on to make 143 appearances for the club but found his chances limited following the return of Allan McGregor in 2018.
Gers fans are delighted to see him land a good move after leaving Ibrox after five years in Scotland – with one saying he never got the credit he deserved at Rangers.

Hope Foderingham gets a shot there. Always liked him, he was better for us than he got credit for https://t.co/WmxhuRTBD0
