Rangers have a chance to open up a two-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership this afternoon when they take on Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena – and Gers fans are disappointed to see Joe Aribo miss the trip to West Lothian.

The Light Blues have named two changes from the midweek win over St. Johnstone at Ibrox as Aribo misses out for Canadian international Scott Arfield while Filip Helander replaces Leon Balogun.

With Hibs drawing 0-0 at Motherwell yesterday, a win for Steven Gerrard’s side will see them go clear at the top of the table for the first time this season.

The Gers have yet to concede a goal domestically and will be looking to extend that run against a Livi side who have struggled so far this campaign.

Livi will be without Rangers loanee Robby McCrorie this afternoon as the keeper sits out the clash due to SPFL rules on loanees playing against their parent club – and could be missing Lyndon Dykes after a bid was accepted from QPR for the striker.

It’s unclear why Aribo has missed the trip to Livingston and fans were hoping for an explanation after the side was confirmed on Twitter.
