As Rangers continue to go from strength-to-strength Celtic can’t seem to snare any of their top targets as yet another name turns down the Parkhead club.

Fergal Harkin has been earmarked for the vacant Celtic director of football role for the last few months but according to the Independent, the Irishman will remain at Manchester City.

In yet another hilarious turn of events, Harkin will remain at Man City as the Football Partnerships and Pathways Manager as his loyalty remains with the Citizens.

This news comes just days after number one managerial target, ex-Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, turned the Parkhead club down after plenty of journalists claimed the move was a done deal.

Celtic fans frantically moved to change their display pictures as the club was left decidedly red-faced and they look to have suffered yet another embarrassment in the hunt for Harkin.

The Parkhead club’s board and directorate have been massively criticised by supporters and their performance is in stark contrast to what’s happening at Ibrox.

It is being widely reported that Celtic are now lining up a move for Australian coach Ange Postecoglou, who is currently in charge of Yokohama F. Marinos.

But there’s no doubt Celtic are currently stumbling from one capitulation to another at present and Rangers fans cannot get enough:

Rangers fans have been Living it Up all season long and if this pre-season is anything to go by, it may well go into the next campaign.

Here’s how the Gers fans reacted to the news Postecoglou could be the name set to go up against Steven Gerrard next season.
