Shane Duffy’s arrival at Celtic Park is proving to be one of the best bits of transfer business for Rangers in recent years after a series of calamitous performances for Neil Lennon’s side – and Gers fans were left in tears after a clip of the defender scoring two own goals before getting sent off while playing for Blackburn Rovers.

Despite arriving in Scotland with the hype that he was going to be the man to help Celtic win a tenth title in a row – Duffy has been an unmitigated disaster, although he’s was a bombscare long before he arrived in Glasgow.

After one fan shared a clip from his nightmare against Cardiff on Twitter, Gers supporters have been filling their boots at the Celtic star’s hilarious performance from 2016.

Duffy netted twice in the first-half – for the wrong team – before getting sent off in inury-time for blasting the ball at an opposition player after play had stopped.

He’s not got much better since arriving at Celtic and appeared to suffer some sort of sleep narcolepsy related incident as Hibs equalised in injury-time on Monday night.

Rangers fans were in hysterics as the clip emerged – with one saying “there’s only one Shane Duffy.”
