Celtic’s shambolic trip to Dubai continues to see them become the ‘laughing stock of Europe’ after Russian side Spartak Moscow took a crack at them on Twitter – leaving Rangers fans in hysterics.
Neil Lennon’s side have been left with 15 first-team players and staff currently self-isolating after Christopher Jullien’s positive Covid test following their own trip to the Middle East and Spartak’s Twitter admin asked if they had “any tips” for their own visit.

Any tips, @CelticFC? 🤔pic.twitter.com/yRbG4h46nh

The Russians are on their own winter break and have – inexplicably – decided to make their own jaunt to Dubai for warm-weather training.
Despite the stupidity of that decision in itself, it’s still good to see them poking fun at Celtic’s outrageous visit to the Emirate.
The weather in Moscow might be a bit more severe than it is in Glasgow but travelling to Dubai for a training camp just now doesn’t seem like the best idea anyone has had recently.
Rangers fans weren’t too fussed about the prospect of Spartak’s trip causing an outbreak in their squad – or potentially forcing Russian third tier clubs to temporarily have to shut down – but did find their Twitter admin roasting Celtic hilarious.

Rangers supporters have railed against Celtic’s “apology” for the trip to Dubai and one unbecoming assertion from the statement.
