Rangers fans in bits as Celtic appear to troll their own fans on Twitter

Rangers fans have been full of praise for the club’s Twitter admin recently after some fantastic tweets from the club account – but it appears “Mr Rangers” could have some competition after Gers fans were left in stitches as Celtic’s Twitter account appeared to troll their own fans.

The Parkhead side took to Twitter to wish former boss Brendan Rodgers, sparking a meltdown from their own supporters and winning plaudits from their Old Firm rivals.

The Leicester City boss isn’t exactly popular with the hooped hordes after swapping Terry Munro for the Premier League and Celtic’s happy birthday message does seem a bit odd given everything going on there just now.

While their support have stopped throwing barriers at buses and cars for the time being, it looks as though their Banter Years are here to stay with Rangers closing in on the title.

Every new bit of media coming out of Parkhead just now somehow manages to make them look even more amateurish than the last and their constant need to be loved by everyone doesn’t seem to extend to their support.

At this rate, it probably won’t be long until they are releasing a career retrospective for someone like Rafael Scheidt – and Rangers fans will no doubt be loving every second.

Their latest error has Gers fans in bits – with one praising the “staunch admin” and another asking when a certain controversial striker celebrates his borthday.

Here are some of the comments on Twitter as Rangers fans praised Celtic’s Twitter admin:

Rangers extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to 23 points with a 5-0 win over Ross County at the weekend in a performance worthy of their dominance this season.
