Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s playing career is one that needs little introduction after an iconic Liverpool career and the Gers boss hasn’t lost any of the ability that made him one of the best midfielders of his generation – and fans on Twitter were blown away by a video released showing the gaffer take part in an impromptu crossbar challenge.
Since arriving at Ibrox last year, some fans have clamoured for the chance to see Gerrard actually pull on a blue jersey but have had to make do with the odd clip from training showing him strut his stuff.

The Gers boss rattled the bar with ease as some of his players looked on and Gers fans on Twitter want the Gers boss to pick himself in the first-team.
The Light Blues are preparing for tomorrow’s friendly with Blackburn and the upcoming Europa League games against Progres Niederkorn.
After the 10-0 aggregate win over St. Joseph’s there seems to be a jovial mood amongst the staff and players at the Hummel Training Centre.
After the Gers posted the video on Twitter earlier, one fan insisted that “no-one can touch” Gerrard while another wished Gerrard was player/manager.
