Rangers trio Robby McCrorie, Jon McLaughlin and Ryan Jack were named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for the triple-header with Israel, Slovakia and the Czech Republic earlier today – but Gers fans on Twitter don’t want Jack anywhere near the squad.

Jack has been sidelined with injury since the 4-0 win over Dundee United earlier this month but was included in Clarke’s 26-man squad for next month’s fixtures.

With the Gers already light on bodies in midfield, fans don’t want to see Jack aggravate his calf problem ahead of the Old Firm game on October 17 – the Light Blues’ first fixture after the internationals.

Jack has come back from internationals carrying injuries before and, with many Gers fans having little time for the national team already, there’s little desire to see him go away from Rangers for a week.

Israelis for a place in the play off final on October 8 with the winner then facing Norway or Serbia for a place at the European Champioships next summer.

Nations League fixtures with the Czech Republic and Slovakia follow on October 11 and 14, respectively, to end the draining list of games.

Gers fans weren’t happy to see Jack included in the squad – with many demanding the Gers withdraw him immediately.
