The Scottish FA have pointed the finger at the Scottish Government over the continuing suspension of lower league and cup football – and Rangers fans on Twitter were left furious at the SFA’s shambolic response which risks the future of clubs.
In a statement posted on their website, president Rod Petrie expressed gratitude towards clubs left in limbo as the SFA refused to make a decision.

Clubs outside the top two tiers had been anticipating being allowed to return to training imminently but are again stuck with no idea when they will even be allowed to train.
After the ban was implemented on January 12, clubs were hopeful it wouldn’t cause too much disruption but with managing to fit the Scottish Cup in alongside the remaining league games is going to be a mammoth task.
With Rangers’ Scottish Cup ambitions on hold, Gers fans are fed up of the Scottish FA’s ineptitude and were quick to take aim at them on Twitter.
