Rangers look set to be handed a Europa League boost ahead of tomorrow’s playoff clash with Galatasaray at Ibrox with Arda Turan out of the game and Falcao unlikely to start.
Turan had reported possibly Covid-19 symptoms before testing negative but the Turkish side confirmed that he wouldn’t be travelling to Glasgow with the rest of the squad.

The former Barcelona star was left out of the 18-man travelling squad and Rangers will be hoping to take advantage of his absence.
“Arda Turan’s Covid-19 test result is negative,” a statement from the Turkish side said.
“But he will not be included in our delegation to Glasgow due to complaints of flu infection and high fever.”
Falcao meanwhile is set to start on the bench, according to the Scottish Sun, with Gala boss Fatih Terim prioritising domestic success over Europa League progress.
The Colombian legend is a huge threat to any defence and if he’s starting on the bench then it can only be viewed as a positive for Rangers’ chances of reaching the group stage.
After reaching the groups for the last two seasons, Rangers fans will be desperate to make it three years in a row and help Scottish football also take a massive step towards securing an automatic spot in the Champions League groups from 2022/23.
