Rangers have confirmed that Ibrox Stadium will once again be in this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer game, PES 2020, as the club continue their partnership with the Konami franchise.

Fans will get the chance to play as their heroes in the iconic stadium when this year’s edition launches on the 10th of September.

It makes a big change from last year when supporters were made to wait until the new year to play at the stadium.

Rangers fans had to wait until February to get the stadium and official player likenesses despite last year’s game and the partnership launching back in August 2018.

Despite the wait, the video game recreation of Ibrox looks stunning and for the most part, fans will be delighted with how Konami has recreated the stadium.

Last year’s edition of PES was the first time that supporters got the chance to play in Ibrox via a football simulation since the famous Total Club Football franchise back in 2005.

Rangers joined the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, Monaco and Old Firm rivals Celtic as Official PES Partners in August 2018.

The fact the club is represented and is an official partner of the Japanese gaming franchise suggests that it won’t be the final year Ibrox is recreated in the video game.
