Former Scotland captain Colin Hendry thinks that Rangers star Alfredo Morelos will fetch over £30million when he finally leaves Ibrox after hitting his 21st goal of the season in the 2-0 win over Porto last night.

The Colombian has been subject to constant transfer speculation and his price tag only continues to rise with every passing game and former Premier League winner Hendry has weighed in on the debate.

After a fan posted a list of Premier League dross that went for huge fees, asking what value Morelos holds, Hendry offered his views, admitting the prices of some of those named were “frightening.”

Rangers fans are desperate to see Morelos remain at Ibrox long-term and Gers boss Steven Gerrard has insisted that he’s not going anywhere in January.
