And the club’s supporters have been rightly boosted by the sight of influential vice-captain Connor Goldson in Servette training ahead of the Champions League clash.
The big defender has only just returned from a lengthy injury problem and was rested for the weekend’s comprehensive 4-0 victory over Livingston at Ibrox.
Rangers are getting closer and closer to their full complement after a disastrous season of injuries in the last campaign and the presence of Connor Goldson is a sizeable boost.

Connor Goldson to return v Servette
Michael Beale preferred the returning Leon Balogun and form Scotland centre-back John Souttar for the clash with the Lions with the latter is expected to retain his place.
Connor Goldson has massive experience with Rangers in navigating the European qualifiers and his influence could be huge in the clash with Servette in Switzerland.
