Rangers have announced another new partner, hot on the heels of linking up with Cadbury yesterday, after joining forces with Glasgow Airport in a “significant strategic and commercial partnership.”
The club announced the new partnership on the official website, ahead of Steven Gerrard’s squad flying out from Glasgow later this week to face Benfica in Lisbon.

There will be new Rangers advertising installed around the airport while fans will have the chance to win prizes and “travel benefits” through prize draws.
Commercial director James Bisgrove hailed the deal, insisting it “underlines our position as Scotland’s most international football club.”
’We’re delighted to form this exciting new partnership that creates a strong link between our City’s International airport and Rangers Football Club, as we continue to drive our club forward as a global brand,” Bisgrove said.
‘’The visual presence of Rangers Football Club upon arrival and departure from Glasgow Airport, underlines our position as Scotland’s most international football club and will support a wide range of club commercial activities’’
Glasgow Airport serves 9million travellers each year, flying to over 100 destinations and increasing the club’s visibility there seems like a no-brainer.
While fans used to clamour for a shop at the airport, this could actually prove to be an even better marketing tool for the club and become a very worthwhile partnership.
