Rangers defender Niko Katic has posted a photo of what looks to be a broken nose he’s suffered while on international duty with Croatia under-21s.
The Gers star is with his country for this summer’s European Championships in Italy and took to Instagram to show off his latest injury after Croatia beat Denmark 1-0 in a friendly.

The U21s European Championship kicks off on the 16th of June with Croatia having to overcome England, France and Romania to progress from the group stage.
Katic made 30 appearances in his debut season for Rangers following his move from Slaven Belupo one year ago yesterday.

The Croatian has quickly become a big favourite with Gers fans and many were disappointed to see him fall out the side to make way for Joe Worrall.
After regaining his place towards the end of the campaign, Katic has shown exactly why Rangers fans want him in the side with a string of impressive performances.

Steven Gerrard’s side report for pre-season next week and Katic could be unavailable until next month if his country does well in Italy.
That could see the defender ruled out of the start of the Europa League qualifying campaign as the Gers look to once again reach the group stage.
