Rangers legend Ally McCoist has hammered Gers defender Joe Worrall after he was caught on camera saying “f*** Celtic.”

The on-loan Nottingham Forest star was filmed drunkenly taking a pop at the Gers rivals after the club’s Player of the Year awards in Glasgow.

McCoist called cameraphones the “worst invention known to man” after Worrall was caught out – and asked “how stupid” the defender’s actions were.

“How stupid is that?” McCoist said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.

Worrall won’t face any action from the Scottish FA over his comments but will likely have had a word in his ear from someone at the club.

He’s not the first to be caught out by a camera phone and won’t be the last – and it begs the question over why some of the stuff filmed is ever put out publicly.

However, with how common they are now, players really need to be more aware of their surroundings and avoid getting themselves into situations where they can land themselves in trouble.
