However, Jones is happy to remain at Killie as they look to challenge the Old Firm for the title.
“I’m fully committed to Kilmarnock until the summer. I won’t leave in this window,” Jones said, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“I’ve always tried to give my best in two-and-a-half years and commitment never in question. That won’t change.
“It’s happened. The Rangers thing is put to the side until the summer. It’s old news. I’m fully focused on helping Kilmarnock.”
After his deal with Rangers was confirmed, Killie fans were unhappy with a message posted on social media by Jones.

The 5-times capped winger admitted his delight at joining his boyhood heroes but fans were fuming.
With Killie hot on the heels of Rangers and Celtic, they’ll be keen to keep hold of their best players.
The Ayrshire side rejected a bid from Rangers 12 months ago as they tried to lure Jones to Ibrox.

Losing Jones would have been a massive blow after loanee Greg Stewart was recalled by Birmingham City.
The Northern Irish winger has been vital for Steve Clarke’s side in their surge up the league table.
Since joining Killie, he has made 108 appearances and has scored 9 times while also contributing 22 assists.
With the two sides meeting next week, it will be interesting to see the reaction Jones gets.
Gers fans will no doubt give him a warm reception but Killie fans might not be as welcoming.
