Former Rangers striker Flo Kamberi is set for a loan move to German side VFL Bochum on loan, according to a report, as the Swiss-born Albanian international star’s move to St. Gallen looks to have gone sour.

Kamberi returned to his homeland last summer to sign for the Swiss side after falling out of favour at Hibs and, according to Sky Sports, he now looks set to move to Germany’s second tier.

Kamberi joined the Gers on loan this time last year, making nine appearances in all competitions prior to the football shutdown, scoring once and registering two assists for Steven Gerrard’s side.

However after moving to St. Gallen, the club Rangers signed Cedric Itten from, he has only appeared  in nine of his new club’s 14 matches so far this season, starting just four times, while he also made a substitute appearance in a Europa League qualifying defeat to AEK Athens.
