Rangers new boy Bongani Zungu has been pictured in a Gers shirt for the first time after completing his quarantine – and fans on Twitter are delighted to see the South African international finally get going.
Zungu had to isolate following his move from Amiens but can finally join his new team-mates ahead of Thursday’s Europa League with Lech Poznan at Ibrox.

The midfielder’s move to Ibrox was one of the most protracted of the summer but the Gers finally got their man on deadline day as he completed a season-long loan move to Glasgow.
It wasn’t just Gers fans who were delighted to see ‘Ben 10’ pose in his new colours for the first time, with an influx of Bafana Bafana fans responding to the club’s Tweet too.
Zungu only made two league appearances for Amiens before his transfer and given that he hasn’t been able to get out onto a training pitch since his arrival in the UK, it’s unlikely he’ll be thrown in at the deep end straight away.
He has been named in the Gers squad for the Europa League group stages though and with fixtures coming thick and fast before the November international break, there’s every chance he will make his Light Blues debut soon.
Here are some of the comments from Rangers fans on Twitter:
Hard to believe we’ve been playing so well and we’ve now got Zungu to come in as well https://t.co/l7ZeCTpZ02
