Rangers midfielder Juninho Bacuna was one of five changes for the Gers against Ross County and the Curaçao international grabbed his opportunity with a first Ibrox goal.

The ex-Huddersfield Town and Premier League midfielder scored an impressive third for Rangers in a 4-2 win over the Staggies in a goal which capped off a fine performance.

A talented player who plays forward and looks like he’s beginning to settle at Ibrox, fans have taken the chance to salute the player’s contribution this afternoon.

In his first Premiership start, Bacuna turned nicely on the edge of the box, playing a neat one-two with the ever-impressive Joe Aribo before lashing it past Ross County keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer.

Still only 24, there’s still plenty of time for the Dutch-born Curaçaoan to develop and the early signs at Ibrox are promising.

After the midfielder opened his account, supporters took to Twitter to applaud Bacuna with fans eager to see what more the player can bring to the side:

All in all it was certainly a positive day for Rangers and their supporters with Bacuna grabbing plenty of the plaudits for his performance.

The Ibrox midfielder certainly wasn’t the only one but the day will also be remembered for the return of a key Gers star who hasn’t been seen for nine months.

Speaking of Bacuna, a key figure at Huddersfield Town has also been explaining the details of his transfer to Rangers with the Ibrox club yet to pay a fee.
