The Scottish Premiership season is set to kick off with Rangers’ trip to Livingston, but will any of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s new recruits line up for the Ibrox side?
Rangers are set to be involved in this season’s curtain raiser and face a trip to the Tony Macaroni to face off against the Lions on their infamous plastic pitch.

It’s a repeat of last season’s opening match for both sides, only this time the match will take place in Livingston rather than Glasgow, with the Gers winning 3-0 on the day.
Rangers predicted XI v Livingston
One of the burning questions is will the number one from that day, Jon McLaughlin, retain his place between the sticks for this one.
There is a fan clamour for the Scotland international to be the number one on league duties and something tells us McLaughlin will get the nod in Livingston tomorrow.
In front of him, we’re backing stalwarts James Tavernier and Connor Goldson to start in defence with Scotland international John Souttar and Croatian counterpart Borna Barisic completing the back four.
There is then some debate regarding who will start in midfield and we’re backing John Lundstram and Glen Kamara to start in the middle of a competitive midfield.
In front of those two, we expect Scott Wright to start on the right amid a slight knock to Rabbi Matondo with Tom Lawrence filling the number 10 role and Ryan Kent starting on the left wing.

Up top, Antonio Colak is the club’s only fit first-team striker so we expect him to start agains the Lions and complete the starting XI.
Rangers will be hoping to start as they mean to go on in the league campaign with a repeat of the 3-0 opening day victory over Livingston from last season sure to be welcomed by supporters.
