Rangers return to Europa League action tomorrow night when the face Braga at Ibrox in the last 32 – and there should be a welcome return to the starting XI for Borna Barisic.

The Croatian defender has returned to training after missing the last two games through injury but Steven Gerrard confirmed earlier that he will be available for selection.

The Gers will be without Ryan Jack through suspension while injury continues to keep Jermain Defoe and Filip Helander on the sidelines for now.

Rangers have endured a difficult start to the year so far but the change of pace that a European night brings should serve as a handy distraction from their domestic problems.

The back five will likely have a familiar look with Barisic returning to action while the midfield trio will probably see Joe Aribo come back into the starting XI – although Rangers News’ Jordan Carlisle believes the game is the perfect chance for Glen Kamara to shine.

The front three will almost certainly be unchanged from the weekend as Ianis Hagi continues to settle into his new side and catch the eye with his early performances.
