Rangers are set to welcome St Johnstone to Ibrox with a good feeling building at the club following the turnaround 3-2 Champions League victory v Union Saint Gilloise.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team turned a two-goal deficit around from the first leg in Belgium to dump USG 3-0 on another historic European night at the famous stadium.

But attention will quickly turn to Callum Davidson’s side as Rangers look to maintain their perfect start to the league campaign.
So far Rangers have started the season with victories over Livingston (2-1) and Kilmarnock (2-0) with the signs being that the club’s new signings are finally beginning to gel.
St Johnstone have had a mixed start to the season too, with the Perthshire club starting the campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Hibs before defeating Motherwell 2-1 last weekend.
Rangers go into the clash firm favourites and ahead of the Champions League qualifier with PSV next weekend will want to maintain the good feeling the USG victory has built in the support.
We expect Jon McLaughlin to start this game, the Scotland international given a vote of confidence by van Bronckhorst in the clash with the Belgians.
Mainstays James Tavernier and Connor Goldson will continue at right-back and centre-back, with this the perfect opportunity to get more minutes into the legs of Ben Davies and Ridvan Yilmaz.

In midfield, we can see Steven Davis coming back into the team with John Lundstram beside him and Malik Tillman playing in front.
We suspect that Ryan Kent, returning from an early season is injury, could also be rested with Tom Lawrence starting out left and Rabbi Matondo playing out right.
Up front, Antonio Colak has started the last four games and is also likely to start on Tuesday so we suspect Alfredo Morelos will get the nod from kick off as he looks to rebuild his fitness.
