How Rangers stunned Europe and made it to the Europa League final in Seville

Rangers will line up in their fifth European final tonight when they face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final in Seville’s Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

While Frankfurt were granted automatic entry to the group stages, Rangers had already played four European fixtures this season before they’d even reached the groups.

A disappointing Champions League qualifying exit to Malmo saw Rangers drop into the Europa League playoff – and nobody – could have imagined what would come next.

Progression through a tough group was, somewhat, expected, before a Knockout playoff against Borussia Dortmund looked like bringing this season’s European adventures to a halt.

It didn’t though and marched on to the last 16 and the Light Blues began to Make Us Dream.

Here’s how Rangers booked their place in the Europa League final in Seville
