Alex Lowry's one-word message to Amad as Rangers teens prepare for Seville final

Rangers star Alex Lowry has branded Ibrox teammate Amad Diallo a ‘magician’ after the Man United loanee shared an image of the pair preparing ahead of tonight’s Europa League final in Seville.

The Ivorian posted the picture of the two on Instagram in Sevilla’s Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán as Gio van Bronckhorst’s side went through their paces on Tuesday.

Lowry’s one-word response made clear exactly what he thinks of Amad as the teenage pair look to make their mark against Eintracht Frankfurt – with Amad set to be part of the Europa League final for the second season in a row.

Although he was an unused substitute last year as Man United lost out in the final, Amad will be hoping he gets the chance to make an impact on the pitch this year as Rangers eye a stunning European success.

Rangers loanee has a chance to end his loan with a bang

Amad’s last two games as a Rangers player will see him involved in the Europa League and Scottish Cup finals and returning to Old Trafford as a double winner would be a huge confidence boost for the winger.

With new United boss Erik Ten Hag taking charge over the summer, a Europa League winner’s medal would be a good starting point with his new manager.

Despite taking his time to get started at Rangers, Amad has really started to find his feet recently and, if he’s not in the immediate first-team plans at Old Trafford then we could do far worse than bringing him back.

Alex Lowry’s comment an interesting insight into what Rangers players are seeing in training with Amad

Amad’s technical ability hasn’t really been in doubt but he’s clearly showing something that is impressing his Ibrox colleagues.

The Europa League final in Seville could just be the chance to show that the hype surrounding him is deserved and show why Man United were willing to spend so much to sign him.

A goal against Hearts in his final Premiership appearance for Rangers was a nice bookend to his league commitments for Rangers – and a goal in Seville might just prove to be one of the most important he’ll ever score.
