Rangers kick off the Premiership season in four weeks’ time when Gio van Bronckhorst takes his side to face Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena – but how could the Light Blues line up in West Lothian on July 30?

Rangers haven’t exactly been the busiest side in the transfer market this summer with only John Souttar having arrived while Leon Balogun, Cedric Itten, Amad Diallo and Aaron Ramsey are among those who have headed for the exit.

While the Gers have been linked with countless players over the summer, only one has appeared to carry any real weight with the Light Blues trailing Croatian striker Antonio Colak.

A deal looks likely to get over the line for Colak but there hasn’t really been much else in the way of serious links to other players this summer.

That means there’s likely to be a familiar look to the side that takes to the pitch in Livingston on July 30 as Rangers look to wrestle back the Premiership title from Old Firm rivals Celtic.

The likes of Alex Lowry, Leon King and Charlie McCann have all joined the first-team squad while Niko Katic is back at the club after spending last season on loan in Croatia.

The three Academy graduates are likely to have roles to play, particularly early on in the season, as they look to build on their impressive performances from last season.

With a number of pre-season friendlies to come over the next few weeks, we should get a glimpse of how the side is shaping up – as well as the first look at any new signings that arrive.
