Zak Rudden's goal rescues vital point for Falkirk

Zak Rudden has done it again.
This afternoon, it was confirmed that the young Rangers striker, was rejoining Falkirk for the remainder of the season.
His initial deal had expired earlier in the week, but the Bairns were desperate to secure a second stint.

Just hours after they had reached an agreement, he linked up with the team on their way to Firhill, to take on Partick Thistle.
It wouldn’t be long before he was bailing his adopted side out once again.
After a goalless first half, Thistle took the lead through their one shining light this season, Blair Spittal.

Yet, the game turned on its head in the 74th minute, when Jag’s player Gary Hawkins was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Just two minutes later, as has become customary, Rudden popped up in the right place at the right time.
His close range header got the visitors back on level terms.
While he almost snatched all three points just moments later with a shot from the edge of the area, the Bairns ultimately settled for the draw.

That’s now nine goals in 17 appearances for the 18-year-old, who seems to be going from strength to strength.
For Falkirk, it means they stay a precarious one point ahead of bottom spot.
