The Rangers squad reported back to the Hummel Training Centre on Monday, for the first day of pre-season.
It’s almost a month since the final game of the 2018/19 SPL campaign.
The Gers bowed out with a 2-1 defeat, but after several weeks away, optimism has been restored.
That’s partially because of business done in the transfer market. Jake Hastie and Greg Stewart have signed for the club, with fellow new arrival Jordan Jones speaking to RangersTV over the weekend about his ambitions.
🆕 Jordan Jones is aiming to get #RangersFC fans on their feet next season as he prepares to join up with his new teammates as they return for pre-season training.

However, there’s a sense that the wheeling and dealing is far from over. In fact, another new face has already been spotted at Auchenhowie.
Umaro Balde was snapped by SNS leaving the Hummel Training Centre on Monday afternoon. The new arrival can be seen smiling in a car pulling away from Auchenhowie.
Another one for the #Rangers fans…👀

The Scottish Herald reported at the end of last month, that Balde was to sign a two-year deal after impressing Academy coaches on trial last season.
The highly-rated youngster has moved away from Portugal, where he had been training with Sporting Lisbon.
It’s thought that Balde will initially be part of Graeme Murty’s reserves squad, before attempting to push for a first-team place [Daily Record].
This shows a continued commitment from Rangers to invest in promising young talent.
Back in February, the club prised Nathan Young-Coombes from Chelsea. He went on to make a wonderful impact, as the Gers won both the Alkass Cup and the Scottish Youth Cup.
