According to the Sun (18 Feb, page 61), Lawrence Shankland has two potential suitors in the English Championship.
The 23-year-old striker has been lighting up the Scottish Championship this season.

He has 20 goals in 22 league matches and 30 in 30 in all competitions.
Those are seriously impressive stats.
Despite spending a short while on the sidelines with injury, his has maintained a superb level throughout the season.
After the Scottish Sun linked Rangers with a move for the forward in December, we felt securing a pre-contract agreement last month, would be a no brainer for the club.
Yet, that didn’t materialise.

Instead the Sun reports (18 Feb page 61), that he is now holding talks with Championship side, Swansea City.
The Swans have found life tough since their Premier League relegation last campaign, and could do with an out and out poacher in their ranks.
The same report, mentions Rotherham United as another interest party.
You would think in a toss up between the two though, the Welsh side would get the nod.
Rotherham are currently in the relegation spots and may not be a second tier outfit, this time next season.

It’s only February, but potential suitors are already looking to get an edge in the race for Shankland.
If Rangers have any interest, they may have to start laying some groundwork or miss out altogether.
Gerrard’s side are short on goals and there’s a highly capable marksman who already supports the club, excelling close to home.
What are they waiting for?
