Former Rangers striker Steven Thompson has claimed that Ibrox star Alfredo Morelos needs “professional help” after his red card against Celtic yesterday.
The Gers striker was dismissed for an off-the-ball incident with Scott Brown and the BBC pundit things he is a “liability” for the Ibrox side.

“He’s a liability for Rangers. The amount of times he has cost them this season and again today without him on the pitch it is undoubtedly harder for Rangers to go and get the result,”

Replays have suggested that the decision to send Morelos off was a soft one after he caught Brown across the chest.
The suggestion the striker should seek professional help is laughable given Thompson once impaled a team-mate after throwing a metal spike into John McGinn’s thigh.

If players were sent off regularly for the sort of thing Morelos is dismissed for then we’d quickly see games ending up 5-a-side on a regular basis.
